The James River crossing is the lowest point on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Enjoy two trails both approximately 30 minutes long. The Trail of the trees is a self guided trail with beautiful river views along the hardwoods. The other trail goes across the river on a walking bridge that hangs below the the crossing bridge.
